Early Garden Bounty

It’s just early April, but there’s already enough from the garden to share.

There are already some little tomatoes on the volunteers that popped up in one of the beds.  The beets are progressing, as are the rutabagas.  I’m hoping that I got the squash in early enough to avoid the dreaded vine borers.

I need more pots for the eggplant seedlings that are now coming up.  I have enough small pots for basil.

I really love gardening — the planning, the work, the ups and downs.  I enjoy examining every little plant in the morning and then seeing how they’ve grown in just one day.

  1. I still find it hard to believe! All this, in just a little over a year?
