Just Because You Can Does Not Mean You Should

Michale Berry adopted a child.  It really shouldn’t be anyone’s business, but he makes it so.  He had to go out of the country to do it.  No One. NOT ONE MEDIA PERSON has asked him why he couldn’t adopt an AMERICAN child.

Should he lose that child to another, he has stated clearly what his reaction would be many times. He would commit a crime.  He’s said it repeatedly.

And yet, he expects something very different  from a mother who has ACTUALLY lost a child — one she gave birth to — you know — with her body.

He’s gone so bad that I can’t even listen to him anymore.

He hopes that the tables will turn and our Constitutional rights will be turned upside down.  He pines for the ’50’s when everyone was in his place.

There is no reasoning with him.  He seems to think his market share going down is good.  He attacks a white woman because he thinks she is black.

He can’t even understand a mother’s loss.

I don’t understand why anyone listens to him anymore.

I’ve decided to stop.

  1. He is no different then the hundreds of other American’s who adopt children from other countries like the Pitts.

  2. I think it great that any child is adopted to a loving family regardless of what country they are from.

    • I think Americans should adopt American children. Take care of our own, ya know. Why not adopt American? Why do so many American children end up growing up without a loving family? Do you know the answer to that timmeh? Ponder it for a while.

  3. I think the reason a lot of American’s adopt from other countries has to do with the cost associated with adoption. I agree I would like to see more children in our country be adopted but as a price is being put on it you go to where you afford the charges.

    • You don’t know what you are talking about, timmeh:

Adopting from the U.S. foster care system is generally the least expensive type of adoption, usually involving little or no cost, and states often provide subsidies to adoptive parents. Stepparent and kinship adoptions are often not very costly. Agency and private adoptions can range from $5,000 to $40,000 or more depending on a variety of factors including services provided, travel expenses, birthmother expenses, requirements in the state, and other factors. International adoptions can range from $7,000 to $30,000. Linky
      Try again.

  4. Well may be I don’t but there is a reason why it is easer to adopt over seas than in the US.

  5. Actually it’s not necessarily easier to adopt overseas — and while it might be easier for some, why might that be? Keep thinking and perhaps you will figure out why people adopt overseas.
