On PBS on Now, they are addressing sexual harrassment in the workplace, focusing on teenagers. One big point is that teens don’t know what is allowed and what isn’t. The part about the movie theater is especially scary. The teens kept working there because their friends worked there. The have regrets about not doing something about it — but they were inexperienced.
It remended me of one of my first jobs. I was 19 and worked in a law office as a paralegal. My direct boss and the owner of the firm were decent people — for the most part — but the managing partner was a complete pervert. Once he told me where he would like to see the lipstick I was wearing. Needless to say, I haven’t worn lipstick since. I never reported him — this was a long time ago — but I never forgot it either.
Later on Fox, I’m going to watch Dollhouse. I watched the first episode (which I had missed) earlier on the Fox webpage. It’s pretty good, and I like the main attress, Eliza Dushku, and watched Tru Calling. It follows that I ama fan of Joss Wheaton, and particularly of Firefly.
Here we go!
