About War: McCain v. Bush

John McCain gave a foreign policy speech today in Los Angeles.  In it he stated:

Only a fool or a fraud sentimentalizes the merciless reality of war.

Earlier this month, Bush spoke with troops serving in Afghanistan

“I must say, I’m a little envious,” Bush said. “If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed.”

“It must be exciting for you … in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You’re really making history, and thanks,” Bush said.

I think McCain nailed it pretty much.

  1. This makes me want to throw up!!!!

  2. Agreed.

The draft dodger pines for the fight when he is too old.

    What a man.

Oh, and there are already McCain bumper stickers on the cars in the garage. They all park in the executive spaces. They are such ‘liberal academics’.

    Throw up.
